PURPOSE: To provide a proper contact operation through guide and restriction with the front and rear ends of the contact arm of a contact pin. CONSTITUTION: The lead terminal of an IC element comes in contact with the corresponding contact section 3 of the contact arm 2 of a contact pin 1 under pressure, when a cover is closed with the lead terminal mounted. In addition, the IC element and the arm 2 of the pin 1 are formed out of arm sections 2a and 2b and, therefore, not twisted, even when subjected to a force in pressure contact direction, thereby ensuring the proper contact operation of the arm 2 with the lead terminal of the IC element. Furthermore, the pin 1, even when subjected to a force from an upper level, is not twisted as mentioned, because the force is distributed in upper and lower directions with the mutual action of a pair of the arm sections 2a and 2b. Thus, even when the pin 1 is formed extremely thin, the proper contact thereof with the lead terminal of the IC element is guaranteed. |
