SOLID POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FUEL CELL

摘要

PURPOSE: To increase the bonding strength of a reaction layer with a solid polymer electrolyte film by a simple process and prevent the coming off of a gas diffusion layer film from the solid polymer electrolyte film which is kept in a wet state. CONSTITUTION: A gas diffusion electrode 4 comprising a gas supply layer 2 on the outside and a reaction layer 3 on the inside is bonded to each side of a solid polymer electrolyte film 1, and curved chamfers 5 are formed in four corners of the electrode 4. In this solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell, forming of a polygonal chamfer is allowable. By forming the chamfer, stress applied to the periphery of the corner of the reaction layer from the electrolyte film kept in a wet state is dispersed and bonding strength is increased.
