<p>PURPOSE: To suppress the peak current passing transistor for driving in a com mon electrode current alternating driving method for a TFT liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: This TFT liquid crystal display includes a TFT liquid crystal display panel which has plural thin-film transistors(TFTs) disposed in a matrix form, canon electrodes, liquid crystals disposed between the plural TFTs and the canon electrodes, plural gate signal lines disposed in the row direction and plural drain signal lines disposed in the column direction, a gate driving circuit 206 which drives the plural gate signal lines of the TFT liquid crystal display panel, a drain driving circuit 211 which drives the plural drain signal lines of the TFT liquid crystal display panel and a common driving circuit 203 which drives the common electrodes. The AC driving voltages of trapezoidal waveforms formed from alternating signals of a square wave in the common driving circuit 203 are impressed to the common electrodes.</p> |
