DATA TRANSFER FORMAT

摘要

PURPOSE: To perform a processing for adding a CPCS header and a CPCS trailer even when a data transfer unit is continuously received in a device for performing a protocol processing in a CPCS layer to the received data transfer unit. CONSTITUTION: In this data transfer format of a layer 2, a dummy field 2 which is not a protocol processing object is provided in the data transfer unit 21 and transmission is performed from a transmission side device. In a protocol processor 22 on a reception side, the dummy field 2 in the received data transfer unit 21 is not considered as transfer object data 20 and the CPCS header 23 and the CPCS trailer 24 are added to the dummy field 2.
