PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous installation to main equipment and to prevent the breakage of the main equipment and the like by arranging an opening end part in an installation face part in a cage body and recessedly arranging an identifying groove part, which is parallel to the installing direction to the main equipment, from the opening end part. CONSTITUTION: In a cage body 1A in which a battery storage part is provided, an installation face part IC positioned on the bottom face side in the outer circumference part, is provided, and a battery storage part 1B is arranged in the inside. In a battery device 1, an identifying groove part 4 is recessedly arranged in the position shifted to either side from the center line of the installation face part 1C, while to the terminal end of the identifying groove part 4, the starting ends of a guide part 9A and a guide 9C are arranged on a butting face side perpendicular to the installation face part 1C. In this way, the identifying groove part 4 can be surely identified by means of main equipment in the installation initial condition in which the guide grooves 9A to 9D are brought into contact with the main equipment. Therefore, erroneous installation of the battery device 1 to the main equipment can be surely prevented, and at the same time, the breakage of the main equipment and the like can be prevented.
