<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and size by making a wiring groove along a wiring pattern at least in one side of an insulating plate and providing a step by removing the outer side wall part of the wiring groove at the side edge part of the insulating plate. CONSTITUTION: Wiring grooves 7, 8 are made, in desired patterns, in both surfaces of an insulating plate 3 wherein the wiring groove 8 has a stepwise upper surface along the outer fringe of the insulating plate 3 and has a width substantially equal to the outer diameter of a wire 10 to be laid. The wire 10 is laid in the wiring groove 8 while being bent substantially perpendicularly to the wiring groove 7. The wire 10 is pressed against the side wall of the wiring groove 8 and positioned along the side edge of the insulating plate 3. The press contact part 11a of a press contact terminal 11 is then press fitted in a part 9 for receiving the press contact terminal formed in the insulating plate 3. Since no wire laying metal is required nor a transferring work is required, the insulating plate can be reduced in planar size thus realizing a small-sized electric connection box.</p> |
