<p>The present invention relates to a bridging corset with (A) a front part (1) with an essentially cross-shaped baseplate (2) of an upwardly extending thoracic web (3), a downwardly extending abdominal web (4) and two lateral webs (5) extending to both sides, a pad for lower sternum (6) being fitted on the end of the thoracic web (3) and an abdominal press (7) being fitted on the end of the abdominal web (4), and the lateral webs (5) being provided on their outsides with closure elements (8), and (B) a back part (9) with a trunk brace (10), a pelvis brace (11) and a connection web (12) lying in between these and on which two waist bands (13), which extend towards both sides approximately parallel to the trunk and pelvis brace (10, 11), which can be connected to the front part (1) via the closure elements (8) on the lateral webs (5) of the baseplate (2), are fitted.</p> |
