The appts. for shaping a blank of ductile metal by internal high pressure, using a U-shaped or tubular blanks, has the pressure medium connection (10) and the closure (11) or further connection which slide out from a base (13) in the mould. A yoke (33) with two tie bolts (30) is round the mould, or pot (3) containing the mould.
