PURPOSE: To ensure a surely hygienic condition and the smooth movement of an erectable pedestal without stagnation of residual water in a tip part after cleaning. CONSTITUTION: The tip of an endoscope has an erectable pedestal 5 disposed on the tip side of a forceps port 3 of a treatment means inserting channel 2 to guide the treatment means in a predetermined direction. While the tip side wall surface S1 of an erectable pedestal 5 receiving part 100 is located on the bottom surface side when the endoscope is disposed vertically, water dropping and remaining after washing is poured to an opening 100P in the receiving part to be discharged to the outside by inclining the tip side wall surface S1. Thus a small amount of the remaining water can be satisfactorily discharged by providing a guide groove for guiding the remaining water toward the opening 100P in the receiving part on the tip side wall surface S1. |
