摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To decrease the number of parts, so as to reduce the installation space for an oil pressure control valve by commonly connecting a single oil pressure control valve to oil pressure chambers of intake side and the exhaust side valve action/rest switching means, and setting spring loads of return springs of both valve action/rest switching means to be different from each other. CONSTITUTION: A spring load of a return spring 61g in both exhaust valve side valve action/rest switching means 551 , 552 is set to larger than the spring load of return spring 611 in both intake valve side valve action/rest switching means 531 , 532 . Accordingly, both intake valve side valve action/rest switching means 531 , 532 are preceded and act on the connection releasing side even if oil pressures simultaneously act on the oil pressure chambers 611 , 62E, and then both exhaust valve side valve action/rest switching means 551 , 552 act on the connection releasing side after a time lag. Since the rest control with a time lag is performed by a single oil pressure control valve 1111 , the number of parts can be reduced, and also the installation space for the oil pressure control valve 1111 can be reduced.</p>
