PURPOSE: To provide an improved cap of a writing implement which can maintain surely the combination between the cap and a spring coupler which is not separated from the cap even when strong force is applied to the coupler. CONSTITUTION: A cap of a writing implement is made by a process in which a metal plate is rounded in an arc shape to form a spring coupler having elasticity in the radial direction, and the coupler is inserted into a cylindrical cap body. The spring coupler 6 has a belt-shaped projection 7 extending from the upper end of the coupler and a bonding part 8 which is formed at the end of the projection 7 and is fixed to the inside of the top of the cap body 2 with screws through the bonding part 8. |
