DATA RECORDING MEDIUM, RECORDING METHOD AND PRODUCTION OF DATA RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a recording material of a write-once optical disk for data excellent in light fastness and storage stability by providing a polyamide resin layer on a substrate directly or through a substrate layer and providing a metal reflecting layer thereon. CONSTITUTION: A data recording medium is constituted by providing a polyamide resin layer 2 on a substrate 1 directly or through a substrate layer 3 and providing a metal reflecting layer 5 thereon. At this time, an org. dye or inorg. material having absorbing capacity within a recording laser wavelength region is dispersed in the polyamide resin layer 2. The optical recording data medium is irradiated with laser beam turned ON-OFF according to data and a light absorber is allowed to generate heat to disperse the metal reflecting layer 5 in the polyamide resin layer 2 and data is recorded by the change in optical characteristics accompanied by this irradiation. The polyamide layer 2 is formed by vacuum vapor deposition. Further, the polyamide resin layer and the org. dye or inorg. material are formed by co-vapor deposition.
