PURPOSE: To obtain the subject colored resin composition, containing a polyolefin-based resin, a specific sorbitol-based compound and a metallized dye, excellent in transparency and light fastness without any solvent and resin migration properties and useful for molding materials, etc. CONSTITUTION: This colored polyolefin resin composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. polyolefin-based resin (e.g. a propylene-ethylene random copolymer) with (B) 0.002-2 pts.wt. one or more sorbitol-based compounds represented by formula I[R<1> and R<2> are each a 1-5C alkyl, a 1-C alkoxy or a halogen; (a) and (b) are each an integer of 0-3] (e.g. dibenzylidenesorbitol) and (C) 0.001-2 pts.wt. metallized dye represented by formula II (B<1> and B<2> are each a residue of a coupling component such asβ-naphthol, 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone or acetoacetanilide; X is O or COO; M is a bi- or a trivalent metal; Z is a halogen, nitro or a 1-12C alkyl; A<+> is a hydrogen ion, a 4-18C aliphatic amine, etc.).
