PURPOSE: To continuously generate high temperature gas having temperature equal to or higher than a specific temperature, leaving components thereof unchanged. CONSTITUTION: At least three burners 1A, 1B, 1C each provided with a thermal storage unit are parallelly disposed and the first burner is in a combustion state, the second burner being in a radiating state wherein cold gas is fed to thermal storage units 2A, 2B, 2C, and the third burner being in a purge state wherein high temperature gas obtained at the second burner is fed to the thermal storage units, and each burner is switched successively to a combustion state, purge state, and radiating state, thereby to continuously generate high temperature gas. |
