PURPOSE: To provide a motor-driven power steering device which can restrain the generation of noises and can provide the optimum steering feeling. CONSTITUTION: This is a motor-driven power steering device equipped with a control means 20 consisting of a target electric current setting means 15 to select a target electric current IMS that is opposite to steering torque T and vehicle speed V; a variation determining means 16 to determine the variation signal ΔI of the target electric current IMS and a return electric current IMO from a low pass filter 18; a gain converting means 21 to generate a gain GS opposite to the signal level of the variation signal ΔI; a drive control means 17 to output motor control voltage VO on the basis of output (GS×ΔI) from the gain converting means 21; and the low pass filter 18. |
