PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate excellent in printing durability, hard to generate the contamination of a non-image line part, good in small spot reproducibility and dot reproducibility, capable of obtaining printed matter sharp in dot shape, having wide water width and capable of being produced by adding slight alteration to existing equipment CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive planographic printing plate is obtained by using aluminum support having pits formed on the surface thereof by electrolytic surface roughening treatment so that 85% or more of pits has a pit diameter of 1-3μm or an aluminum plate subjected to electrolytic surface roughening treatment in a nitric acid electrolyte and subsequently uniformly pressed under pressure of 10-200g/cm<2> and further subjected to anodic oxidation treatment.
