PURPOSE: To adjust the shape of the tip of a ball-point pen without distorting the same by holding the pipe made of a synthetic resin of an ink tank and applying grinding processing to the tip part of the ball-point pen while bending the pipe. CONSTITUTION: A pipe 2 made of a synthetic resin fitted with a ball-point pen tip 1 is held between a rubber roll 3a and a receiving roller 3b and rotated by a rotary machine. The grinding surface 4c of a grinder 4 is brought into contact with the ball-point pen tip 1 at the position bending the pipe 2 while the pipe 2 is rotated to apply grinding processing thereto. Even when the contact force of a grinding material is slightly excessive, it can be absorbed by the bending force of the pipe. Further, the contact force is regulated by the holding force of the pipe and the distance with the grinding material. |
