Ground covering for temporary fixing of traffic lights

The ground covering encloses iron particles making up 50 % to 80% of its weight. The iron particles are chosen from a set formed from powdered iron, iron filings or micro balls. The covering is made of bitumen or similar material. The traffic lights have their base equipped with a permanent magnet. The thickness of the covering and the proportion of particles it contains are calculated so that the shearing force of each light is equal to between 20 and 30 N. When used for defining temporary traffic lanes the covering is painted with horizontal road signals in continuous or discontinuous bands.
