<p>A method for transfection of cultured mammalian cells is provided. Nucleic acid is mixed with polylysine and hypericin (or a hypericin analog), and a complex is formed. The complex is then contacted with cultured mammalian cells to deliver the nucleic acid into the cells.</p> |
