The drive mechanism is for the sheet accelerating device. It has setting points (A0,B0) for the driving and driven members (4,9). They project onto the plane formed by the driving member within the cam sector, formed by the contact points of the driving member with the cam roller of the driven member. The side disc (8) of the device (1) and the driven member, which is engaged with the driving member via a cam roller, are made as one functional unit. The cam roller of the driven member is fitted directly to the side disc of the device by means of roller bolts (7).
