<p>Provided is an ink jet paper comprised of a substrate coated with a composition comprised of a latex film which has not been fully coalesced. The coating on the ink jet recording sheet is obtained by coating a composition comprised of a hydrophobic polymer latex onto the sheet, and then drying at a temperature below the film forming temperature of the polymer latex. As a result, the latex does not coalesce or form a smooth, continuous film.</p> |
