PURPOSE: To obtain a refractory for casting execution excellent in spalling resistance and corrosion resistance as lining for molten steel vessel in the steel industry. CONSTITUTION: This refractory for casting execution is obtained by adding 1-25wt.% of titania, 1-30wt.% of alumina and optionally 1-10wt.% of iron oxide based on outer percentage to 100wt.% of a blend containing an aggregate consisting of a magnesia-based raw material and/or MgO Al2 O3 -based spinel- based raw material and alumina cement. |
