PURPOSE: To always inject ink in an optimum insertion position by making a mark for indicating the depth of insertion into an ink cartridge on a tube so that the proper depth of insertion into the tube is made clear. CONSTITUTION: A mark 4 is made on a tube 4 to indicate the depth of insertion into the tube, and an ink outflow port 3 is positioned in the central part of an absorber 6 by inserting into an ink cartridge 5 using an ink feeder 1. The infection of ink is started by opening an air hole in a lid 22 after this state being established. In this way, uniform distribution of ink is attained when the absorber made of a porous member is impregnated with ink to make a form to receive ink, preventing the deterioration of absorption efficiency due to the injection of ink in an improper position and the overflow of ink. |
