摘要 PURPOSE: To make it possible to adjust the arranging angles of respective points to be irradiated with lasers at one time by tilting supporting bodies of respective irradiation nozzles which form vertical margin parts by an angle adjusting mechanism when the pitches of horizontal margin parts are changed. CONSTITUTION: A long-sized film F' formed with a vapor deposited metal film is made to travel in its longitudinal direction and is irradiated with the laser beams R2 from the plural irradiation nozzles 70 supported by the supporting bodies 80, by which the vertical margin parts are formed. The film is then irradiated with the lasers R1 from irradiation mechanisms 42, 44, 46 for laser beams in its transverse direction, by which the horizontal margin parts are formed. At this time, the number of revolutions of a polygon mirror 44 is changed by operating a control panel 74 to change the pitches of the horizontal margin parts. The horizontal margin pitch signals are transmitted from the control panel 74 to the angle adjusting mechanism 72. The angle adjusting mechanism 72 automatically matches the angle formed by the supporting bodies 80 and the transverse direction of the film with the angle of inclination of the horizontal margin parts. As a result, the arranging angles of the respective points to be irradiated with the lasers are automatically adjusted to the arranging angles corresponding to the fresh pitches.
