<p>PURPOSE: To optimize/minimize the size of a wiring board on a chassis and the number of leader lines arranging either one or both of a tape end detecting element and a reel base rotation detecting element separately on a main chassis and a sub-chassis. CONSTITUTION: The rotation of a take-up reel base 14 is always detected by a light receiving element 10, and the rotation of a supply reel base 13 is detected, in the state capable of recording/reproducing, by a light receiving element 6 through a hole 7e on the sub-chassis 7 in accordance with the change of an emitted light. The light emitted from a light emitting element 15 is detectable by the tape end detecting element 9 of the take-up reel side and detectable, in the recording/reproducing state, by the end detecting element 5 of the supply reel side through a hole 7f on the side surface of the chassis 7, and these detections of the tape ends are executed from the traversed state of the tape end. A cassette loading switch 12 is the switch for detecting that the cassette is loaded into the chassis 7 and when the cassette is loaded, a cassette detecting switch 11 is abutted on the cassette, thereby the information of the kind of tape, and the like are detectable.</p> |
