<p>PURPOSE: To absorb an impact at the time of abutting contacting, and to restrict an abnormal sound generated by abutting contact with a case in a latch by forming a resin mold section on the outer circumference of the latch and forming a slit to a section abutted against the case at a door-opening place of the latch in the resin molding section. CONSTITUTION: A penetrating path 5 for penetrating a striker 4 and a recess 8 are formed on the surface side of a body 1 made of a synthetic resin, and a latch 6 engaged with the striker 4 and rotated in the direction of door closing (the counterclockwise direction) and a ratchet 7 holding the latch 6 at the place of door closing are arranged into the recess 8 while holding the penetrating path 5. A resin molding section 6a is formed on the outer circumference of the latch 6, and a slit 6b is shaped to a section abutted against the recess inwall 2 of the case 1 at the place of door opening of the latch 6 in the resin molding section 6a. A cushioning member 36 consisting of a resin material is mounted on the cam surface 18 of the ratchet 7 through molding. Accordingly, collision sounds at a time when a projecting section 22 is abutted against the half- engagement stepped section 16 and full-engagement stepped section 17 of the latch 6 can be avoided.</p> |
