<p>PURPOSE: To enable the main office of chain stores developing many stores to manage the shelves of each store without managing the commodity master of each store and then to attain the decrease of changing jobs and the improvement of the capacity efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A host computer 1 is connected to plural store terminals 7a to 7n and constructs a decentralized processing system. Then the computer 1 is provided with a commodity master file 2 which stores the commodity masters including plural display patterns showing the display positions in the form of a repetition table in addition to the basic information including the commodity sorting information, a store master file 3 which stores the store masters including the types of commodities treated in each store and the gondola numbers showing the display positions in the form of a repetition table, an editing means 4 which produces the store-based commodity masters from both commodity and store masters and stores these produced masters in an allotment file 5, and an allotment means 6 which transmits the store-based commodity masters to the corresponding terminals 7a to 7n respectively. The terminals 7a to 7n include the reception means 8a to 8n and the store-based commodity master files 9a to 9n which store the store-based commodity masters.</p> |
