PURPOSE: To shorten the installing time and reduce the space of the installing place of an air conditioner due to a compact thickness reduction by assembling the conditioner in a wall as wall itself and to facilitate the cleaning, inspecting and repairing operations of the conditioner from indoor without impairing the appearance of a residence. CONSTITUTION: A compressor 5, an indoor side centrifugal blower 1, an outdoor side centrifugal blower 2, an indoor side heat exchanger 10, an outdoor side heat exchanger 11, a pressure reducing unit 6, other components, etc., for forming an air conditioner are assembled in a frame 16, and further a wall surface member 14 of indoor side, a wall surface member 15 of an outdoor side are assembled in the frame 16. An indoor side air suction port and a diffuser 3 are provided at the member 14, and an outdoor side air suction port and diffuser 4 are provided at the member 15 of an outdoor side. |
