PURPOSE: To obtain a part prepared from fiber-reinforced ceramic-based composite material improved in initial fracture strength, fracture energy and oxidation resistance, and having high reliability. CONSTITUTION: This part is so designed as to laminatedly put plural fiber layers 3 in a ceramic matrix 2 and has such a characteristic that the fiber content within the region from at least one surface thereof to T/3 in depth is lower than that within the region from T/3 to 2T/3 in depth (where, T is the thickness of the part in the direction rectangular to the fiber layers 3). Besides, it is recommended that a specified thickness of a matrix layer be provided on the whole surface of the part. |
