PURPOSE: To quickly and accurately execute table preparation by providing a document processor with a working means for selecting a table preparing means for optionally preparing and displaying a table and a working means for selecting a table aligning means for aligning the table at prescribed row and column intervals so as to transform a table intuitively written on a screen into an aligned table and display the converted table. CONSTITUTION: This document processor is provided with the 1st working area consisting of a table mode key for selecting a table preparing means for displaying an optional table 9 on a display part and the 2nd working means consisting of an aligning mode key for selecting a table aligning means for converting an optional table into an aligned table 10. In such a constitution, the table 9 prepared by an optional table preparation mode started by the table mode key can be simply and automatically transformed into the linearly aligned table 10 by a vertical/horizontal aligning mode started by the aligning mode key. Since it is unnecessary to accurately extract a detailed part of the table, the table can be prepared by a sense similar to the preparation of a hand-written table on paper. |
