PURPOSE: To lower the bearing pressure in a contact range and widen the contact surface are by forming an acute angle between the center axis and limiting rim parts of a projected part by inclining the rim parts and forming the projected part as to be conformed to the deflection angle of leg parts at the time of inserting a contactor. CONSTITUTION: When no load is applied to a contactor, not only straight limiting rim parts 5, 6 of projected parts 3, 4 but also leg parts 1, 2 are mutually inclined to counterpart sides and an acute angleαis formed between the center axis 7 of a contactor the rim parts. This acute angleαis made equal to the outside deflection angle of leg parts 1, 2 when a pin or strip-like contactor is introduced, and a relatively wide contact region is formed along the straight limiting rim parts 5, 6. On the other hand, the part where the leg parts 1, 2 having substantially a turning fork shape are joined each other continuously from a web 10, which is led to a connection piece 13, is preferably formed as an arch-like part 9. Consequently, by selecting the width of the arch-like part 9, the elastic strength of the contractor can be selected over a wide range.
