PURPOSE: To reduce the space for installing an air condition, to simplify a drain piping operation, and to improve the external appearance of the periphery. CONSTITUTION: The air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger 14 in a housing 1, a drain pan 16 for receiving the drain from the exchanger 14, a drain hose 18 connected to the pan 16, and a container 19 provided at the inside of the back surface 1b of the housing 1 to contain the hose. |
