PURPOSE: To reduce the number of component items, reduce cost, and enhance reliability by detecting voltage applying to a switching element and driving the element with the detected voltage. CONSTITUTION: A commercial a.c. power source 1 is rectified and smoothed with a rectifying-smoothing circuit 2, the output of the circuit 2 is converted into high frequency with a switching element 4, and high frequency power is supplied to a magnetron 10 through a magnetron driving transformer 40. A microcomputer 31 has a cooking control function and an inverter circuit control function, and an inverter circuit input power variable interface is made unnecessary. A driving control means 51 controls a driving circuit 8, and drives the switching element 4 in specified pulse width. Voltage applied to the switching element 4 is detected with the driving control means 51 to drive the switching element 4. Since direct input power is variable, the interface is made unnecessary, and cost is reduced. |
