PURPOSE: To provide a power converter suited to reduced dimensions, reduced weight and increased capacity by using a high frequency switching element. CONSTITUTION: Power converters 5a and 5b are connected to the secondary winding of the same transformer and the same gate pulse is given. Even if the required multiplicity is increased, the number of secondary windings of a transformer can be reduced by using the technique stated above, so that the weight of the converting equipment can be reduced. At the same time, the output at DC side can be made common, it can be applicable even to a use for supplying power to a large-output inverter. |
