PURPOSE: To provide a lens assembling structure of a range finder which can stably hold a lens in the regular position without constraining thermal expansion and contraction of the lens and without excessively fastening the lens itself. CONSTITUTION: A lens assembly structure of a distance measuring device comprises a distance measuring IC having a pair of photosensor arrays, a pair of left and right focusing lenses located in front of the IC, and a parallel prism located in a light guide path between the focusing lenses 1, and is adapted to arrange and secure the focusing lenses 1 on a lens base panel 9 in position, a lens frame 7 is superposed with each of the focusing lens 1, and the lens frames 7 and the lenses 1 are integrally incorporated with one another by means of support shafts 11 which are arranged at left and right side ends of the peripheral edges of the lenses, lens retaining leaf springs 15, and a binder 13 applied over one part of the peripheral edges of the lenses 1 without constraining thermal expansion and contraction of the lenses 1. Further, after the lens frames 7 are positionally adjusted on the lens base panel 9 in position, screws 17 are tightened firmly for fastening the lenses. |
