PURPOSE: To increase the clutch capacity by increasing the frictrional coefficient by forming the diameter of a gas hole on a manufactured paper body formed out of the fine fibers and the large diameter fillers to an optimum value and increasing the contact rate with the opponent member (flywheel), when used as a humid type frictional member by attaching a clutch plate, as for a humid type frictional member for a clutch. CONSTITUTION: As for a humid type frictional member for a clutch which is formed by impregnating the fiber which constitutes the skelton and a paper basic member which is manufactured out of the inorganic and organic fillers, with the thermosetting resin, and molding these elements, the fiber which constitutes the skelton possesses a freeness of 300ml or less. and the filler possesses the particle diameter of 50-250μm. Further, the fiber which constitutes the skelton possesses a fiber diameter of 0.1-5μm and a fiber length of 0.1-4mm, and the filler possesses the particle diameter of 50-250μm. The fiber is made of the aromatic polyamide.
