CALIPER SUPPORT MECHANISM OF DISC BRAKE

摘要

PURPOSE: To decrease dragging and squeak of a brake and also to facilitate working for the end face of the stepped part of the lug of a caliper by lessening twist of a slide pin against a support bracket and smoothing sliding of the slide pin relalive to the pin guide hole of the support bracket, concerning a whirl-stop for a split pin. CONSTITUTION: A caliper support mechanism of a disc brake is so constructed that the end face 21 of the stepped part of the lug 5C of a caliper is a circular- arc like end face which is concentric with a bolt hole and directed obliquely outward in the lateral direction of the lug 5C.
