PURPOSE: To provide a video server system, with which the state of concentrat ing access to a specified video data storage means can be avoided, with the high use efficiency of the video data storage means. CONSTITUTION: A system managing part 104 is provided with a data base concerning the information of video data storage parts 101-1 to 101-n, where the sequence data of a video source are stored, or characteristics such as the ratio of access for each video source and the storage capacity or reading speed of storage media at the respective video data storage parts. Based on this information, the system managing part 104 processes the move/rearrangement of sequence data among the video data storage parts so that the number of times of reading access to the respective video data storage parts 101-1 to 101-n can be settled within a certain fixed rang. |
