The at least one closure piece (10), the same size as the rectangular, circular or oval opening (1), is moved by at least one drive mechanism (40) with at least one rotatably driven axle (50). The axle points at right angles to the vector (11) of the movement of the driven mechanism, and supports at least one wheel-shaped roller (70). The drive mechanism is positioned on, or in, the edge (9) of the closure piece so that the roller is in frictional contact with the wall, floor or ceiling surface (23) over which it runs. The side of the closure piece is fixed to the frame (6) round the opening. At least one drive mechanism is positioned on the opposite side (5) in the edge (9).
