This invention relates to a braking warning light for vehicles, constructed so that, when an accelerator (1) is stepped on, a switch (5) attached to a carburetor lever (4) is operated to cause a blue lamp (8) to be lit, and so that, when the accelerator (1) is released, the blue lamp (5) is turned off, for preventing the occurrence of a rear-end collision.
