PURPOSE: To carry out the tracing of a map data accurately even when there are plural check points in the same intersection. CONSTITUTION: When a vehicle reaches to a check point, an intersection link one point process routine is carried out. In this routine, all the other check point data connected to the reached check point are input (Step 301), and when there is an intersection link flag to indicate that the other check points compose the link in the intersection, all the data as to the check points composing the link in the intersection are input (Step 103). Then, the positions of the centers of gravity of input plural check points are operated so as tp carry out a varied processing that the positions of the centers of gravity are regarded as a single check point (Step 304), and after the execution of the varied processing, a processing that the other check points connected to the link in the intersection are regarded to be connected to a single check point is carried out (Step 305). |
