PURPOSE: To surely record desired image data by limiting the storage of the image data received by a communication means to a storage means corresponding to registered information in a registration means. CONSTITUTION: An HDD 18 is connected to an interface 17 and stores image data, voice data, optical read data and character data or the like via a telephone line. Furthermore, the HDD 18 stores data sent via the telephone line and received by a communication circuit 20. When it is not registered in a nonvolatile memory 15, the limitation of recording to the HDD 18 is not applied (in the case of transmission of data from an opposite party whose information recording is to be limited), only several frames of image data received via a communication line 20 are recorded on the HDD 18. Thus, it is prevented that image data such as propaganda or advertisement sent from unspecified senders are recorded too much. |
