<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate generation of wire shortcircuiting, etc., in an electric fusion deposition type saddle joint of such a structure that an electric heater wire is embedded spirally in the bottom part of the saddle, by furnishing a fold in part of the heater wire, and thereby allowing the heater wire to move in the fusion deposit process in the direction of going farther from the adjacent heater wire. CONSTITUTION: A saddle joint 1 includes a hollow cylinder part 2, saddle part 3, and a branch pipe connection part 4 which branches from the part 2 and with which another pipe is connected. The arrangement further includes a cap 5 to seal the top opening of the cylinder part 2, a clamp hitch part 6 for mounting of the clamp device, an inner 7 embedded in the bottom surface of the saddle part 3, and a connector pin 9 with which the ends of a heater wire 8 are connected. In a part of the spiral winding of the heater wire 8, a fold 80 is furnished in such an arrangement as directed outward at the periphery of the winding. In case the heater wire 8 has made linear expansion, the wrinkling aside in the moving amount is absorbed by the fold 80 so that risk of wire shortcircuit, etc., is eliminated.</p> |
