<p>PURPOSE: To realize stabilized FF/REW by running a tape while winding around a pinch roller and absorbing the uneven force through automatic self-aligning function thereby suppressing fluctuation in the breadthwise direction of the tape. CONSTITUTION: A ball bearing 27 is provided with a clearance between inner and outer rings 29, 28 thereof. Consequently, a degree of freedom is provided in the inclination between a shaft 30 and a roller 26 and automatic sell-aligning function acts on a pinch roller 21 with respect to a capstan shaft 24 under PLAY state. Consequently, a press contact force is applied uniformly to a tape T in the breadthwise direction thereof thus realizing stabilized running of tape. At the time of FF/REW, the tape T is removed from the capstan shaft 24 and the force is not applied uniformly to the tape in the breadthwise direction and thereby the tape T fluctuates in the breadthwise direction. When the tape T is run while winding around the pinch roller 21, uneven force is absorbed through the automatic self-aligning function to suppress fluctuation of the tape in the breadthwise direction thus realizing stabilized FF/REW.</p> |
