The slack spring (1) encompasses the cylinder (2) and threaded rod (3) and lies between the ring (4) on the cylinder and bulkhead wall (5). A nut is fitted on the threaded rod and provided with a rubber pad (7), and the piston (8) in the cylinder lies opposite the idler wheel bridge (9).
