Engine valve-timing adjustment control device with learning function
摘要
The valves of an engine system are controlled by a regulator to maintain the correct phase between the crankshaft (11) and the camshafts (15,16) that operate the valves. The transmission between the crankshaft and the camshafts is in the form of a belt (14) and the phase positions are measured continuously by sensors (17,18) that deliver pulses to the control unit (70). The controller generates a command to a hydraulic valve (50) to operate the phase adjustment unit of the camshafts. Whenever the phase error is zero the control action setting is learned and is stored in memory for later use. The learning process continues every time there is a new value.
