<p>The proposed textual and/or graphic data transmission system comprises the following functionally interconnected elements: at least one data source (1); an electronic data gathering and distribution network (2); and at least one consumer information device (4). In the proposed system, the consumer information device (4) is connected to the electronic data gathering and distribution network (2) via a data output device or devices (3) containing elements which can connect the consumer information device (4) to the electronic data gathering and distribution network (2). The consumer information device (4) takes the form of a small unit of about the same size as a newspaper or book and contains the following functionally interconnected elements: an input/output unit (4/1); a memory unit (4/2); a display (4/3); a processor (4/4); control buttons (4/5); and a power source (4/6). The invention can be used most advantageously for the production of an individual data carrier, replacing newspapers, books, files etc.</p> |
