Tamping machine has tamping aggregates with adjustable tools aggregates can be parallel swiveled with regard to frame (73) and to level of track (78). Vertical axis (103) is created with line of intersection of longitudinal level of symmetry of machine with tamping aggregates (81,82) passing through transversal level of symmetry. Swivel tamping aggregates (81,82) arranged on machine (72) in working direction before back bogie (74) behind aggregate (85) are equipped with height and transversal adjustable drives.
