<p>PURPOSE: To provide a paper separating device using a torque limiter, which can reduce the number of parts to be used, facilitate the handling for incorporating and maintenance work and reduce the cost and save the space. CONSTITUTION: A reverse roller 2 which separates multi-fed sheets one by one, and a clutch drum 1b which constitutes a torque limiter 1 for opplying a torque in a sheet returning direction to the reverse roller 2 are formed integratedly. At least a part of torque limiter 1 is constituted so as to overlap on the reverse roller 2 in the axial direction, thus attaining the space saving. By fixing a hub 1c onto a shaft 3, it is possible to replace easily only parts which are apt to be damaged at the time of maintenance.</p> |
