PURPOSE: To provide excellent optical isotropy and transparency and excellent heat resistance and moisture resistance by setting the retardation of a film to a specific value or less. CONSTITUTION: The retardation of a film is set to 100nm or less. If the retardation exceeds this range, when it is used as the protective film of a polarizing plate, an interference color and a contrast drop occur. When it is used for the utility of liquid crystal display, an image becomes unclear. It is also preferable that in order to improve light ray permeability, the compatibility between syndiotactic polystyrene polymer and resin indicating positive double refraction to be added is preferable and the permeability of the resin indicating the double refraction is 80% or more. In order to hold thermal shrinkage excellent, in addition to elongation and thermal fixing conditions, polyphenylene oxide, polyarylate, etc., is added to obtain the heat resistance of the resin indicating the double refraction to be added and/or laminated. |
